ACM in partnership with OASIS® Floral Products: “on the road to zero waste”

OASIS® Floral Products making strides on its sustainability journey with the help of specialist waste partner and Reconomy Group company, ACM Environmental.

OASIS® Floral Products is a global firm and the world’s largest manufacturer of floral foam products for the floristry industry, with two UK manufacturing sites in Washington (Sunderland, Tyne, and Wear).  Led by ACM’s Principal Waste Consultant, Russ Sampson, ACM launched the OASIS® Floral Products Greener Path Programme in 2021.

OASIS® Floral Products had already embarked on its sustainability journey through its ‘Big Green Plan’, when it sought out the support of ACM Environmental. ACM provided a gateway to the entire waste and recycling industry along with the necessary industry experience to focus on and achieve the outcomes. ACM launched the OASIS® Floral Products Greener Path Programme in 2021, aligning to its waste and resource-related targets, finding the best (and most efficient) solutions, and taking care of the implementation and day-to-day management.

Russ Sampson, Principal Waste Consultant at ACM Environmental, visited the Smithers Oasis Tyne and Wear site to show the journey so far… on the road to zero waste:
