A 0% recycling rate increase
ACM helped increase the recycling rate by 35% by the end of 2019.

The partnership led to a cost saving for the waste services and also importantly a total 56% recycling rate by the end of 2019.
When CBRE & ACM joined partnership at Velocity in 2017, the site had a basic waste set up of General Waste and DMR.
ACM undertook a waste audit with the FM team soon after and identified a number of areas of improvements that could be made to increase recycling on site.
With the excellent efforts of the CBRE FM to engage the tenants, advising them what they would need to do and why and also engaging with the on site cleaning companies, as well as improving the on site signage around the site, we were able to add a food and glass recycling service to the site which in time led to a reduction in the number of General Waste bins required. This led to a cost saving for the waste services and also importantly, increased the recycling rate from 21% in November 2017 to 56% by the end of 2019.
